Review W hotel, Taipei (Stayed in February 2017)

ไปเที่ยวไต้หวันมาค่ะ แล้วเลือกพักที่โรงแรมดับเบิ้ลยูที่อยู่กลางเมืองไทเปเลย ตอนนี้คนไทยไม่ต้องใช้วีซ่ามาไต้หวันแล้วเลยเดินทางกันได้สะดวกขึ้น บ้านเมืองเค้าก็สะอาด เจริญ มีระเบียบ อาหารอร่อย ราคาสบายๆเท่าๆกับเมืองไทยของเรา เผื่อใครสนใจมาเที่ยวแล้วกำลังเล็งดูโรงแรมอยู่ว่าจะพักไหนดี เชิญตาม FoodSpace พื้นที่ความอร่อย Enjoyท่องเที่ยว มารีวิวโรงแรมนี้กันนะคะ ว่าจะดีสมราคาหรือเปล่า อิอิ

FoodSpace went to Taipei in February 2017 and we stayed at the W hotel, right in the heart of Taipei. We, 3 ladies, spent 3 nights in this modern hotel and explored almost every bit of it. Follow us to see if it was worth the money .. Here we go!

โรงแรมห้าดาวแห่งนี้ราคาไม่ถูกนะคะ แต่สิ่งที่ได้กลับคืนมาคือคุ้มค่ามากๆค่ะ ที่เด็ดสุดของโรงแรมนี้คือสถานที่ตั้งค่ะ เพราะอยู่กลางเมืองมากๆ ติดสถานีรถไฟและรายล้อมไปด้วยห้างใหญ่ๆ ร้านอาหารหลากหลาย โรงแรมนี้ยังตั้งอยู่ใกล้กับตึกไทเป101ขนาดเดินชิลๆไม่เกิน10นาทีถึงตึกไทเป101ได้ค่ะ ตัวโรงแรมตกแต่งแบบโมเดิร์นเน้นโทรสีดำเป็นหลักและตัดด้วยสีสดๆเช่นส้ม ชมพู หรือม่วง ทำให้ดูเท่ๆลึกลับนิดๆ ในลิฟท์นี่เปิดเพลงตึ๊ดๆตลอดนะคะ คึกคักกันทั้งวันทั้งคืนค่ะ

This 5-star hotel offered reasonable price comparing to what we got. The best thing about it for us was its prime location at the heart of Taipei and its walking distance to the famous Taipei 101 building (10 mins easy walk). W hotel is located next to all major transportation hubs including train and bus stations. Wide-ranged of Malls and restuarants nearby.  Hotel's decoration is very modern with black and vibrant colors which nicely gave energetic feeling. During our 4days-and-3nights-stay, their elevators and lobby played music with lively beats all day long.

ล๊อบบี้ด้านล่าง เป็นแค่ที่รับกระเป๋าและขึ้นลงแท๊กซี่นะคะ ส่วนล๊อบบี้ที่เอาไว้เช็คอินอยู่ข้างบนค่ะ แสงนี่ เท่มากๆ แต่ถ้าป่วยๆมาก็อาจจะปวดหัวได้ค่ะ
Vibrant-lighted Ground floor lobby is only used for bags and taxi drop-off. The check-in counter is upstairs. 
Let's take a dancing elevators right up! 

ส่วนล๊อบบี้ที่เอาไว้เช็คอินจะอยู่ชั้น ซึ่งเป็นชั้นเเดียวกับสระว่ายน้ำ, Woo Bar, Wet Bar (Pool bar) และห้องอาหารเดอะคิตเช่นเทเบิ้ล the Kitchen Table
สำหรับบุฟเฟ่ต์อาหารเช้า และบุฟเฟ่ต์มื้อต่างๆและเคาเตอร์ conciergeนะคะ (พนักงานน่ารักมาก เก่ง ขออะไรก็เต็มใจช่วยเหลือได้ดีมากค่ะ)
The  check-in counter is on the upper floor together with Woo Bar (lobby bar), outdoor Wet Bar (pool bar), the Kitchen Table (breakfast restaurant)  and the swimming pool. Their concierge counter is also located on this same floor. Both at the check-in counter and the concierge counter, their staff offered us extremely helpful and impressive services.

เครื่องลง 7โมงเช้า เรามาถึงเร็ว ยังไม่ได้ห้องพัก แต่ทางโรงแรมให้เราไปอาบน้ำ เปลี่ยนเสื้อผ้าและพักผ่อนได้ที่ยิมของโรงแรมก่อนนะคะ เราแค่ไปล้างหน้าล้างตาพักผ่อนครู่สั้นๆ ทิ้งกระเป๋าเดินทางไว้แล้วบึ่งออกไปหาอาหารเช้าแบบไต้หวันอันเลื่องชื่อมาฟาดปากกันค่ะ ป.ล.เรามาด้วยสายการบินอีว่าแอร์
(ซื้อตอนราคาโปรโมชั่น BC ราคาเท่า Eco การบินไทยค่ะ ขออภัยที่ไม่เลือกบินสายการบินแห่งชาตินะคะ) ออกจากกรุงเทพฯตีสองเลยมาถึงไทเป7โมงเช้าค่ะ
This time, we flew with Eva Airline because we got a very good deal with their Business class promotion which at the time costed us as much as economy class of Thai airways. We arrived in Taipei very early i.e. 7AM and the super early check-in wasn't available but rather their standard 2PM check-in time. However, they allowed us to wash up, change our cloth and rest at the gym or spa! We did only fresh up a bit and left our bags there and headed out for the famous local breakfast!

 สระว่ายน้ำกลางแจ้ง โล่งๆ สบายๆค่ะ ไปนั่งพักหรือว่ายน้ำรอเช็คอินห้องก็ได้นะคะ Outdoor swimming pool

เว็ทบาร์เป็นบาร์ที่สระว่ายน้ำ จะมีราคาโปรโมชั่นแฮปปี้อาวเออร์ทุกเย็นนะคะ ถ้าเป็นสมาชิกพิเศษของโรงแรมจะได้ราคาพิเศษหนักเข้าไปอีก มีฟรีให้สมาชิกระดับพิเศษๆด้วยค่ะ Wet bar (bar by the pool) offers happy Hour every evenings but the super special price and free drinks are for their exclusive members only. So, we ended up paying for normal special price, which was cheaper than their full price anyway.

มาถึงห้องพักกันบ้างค่ะ เราจองเป็นแบบ Wonderful room คือถูกสุดนะคะ ห้องอื่นๆที่กว้างขึ้นก็แพงขึ้นและมีชื่อเรียกเก๋ๆต่างๆกันไปค่ะ ห้องเราแม้จะราคาถูกสุดของโรงแรมแต่ก็สะอาด ขนาดกว้างพอเหมาะ  นอนสามคนรวมเตียงเสริมก็มีที่เหลือนะคะ ห้องมีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครัน เตียงนุ่มสบายมาก ไม่ยวบไปไม่แข็งไป หลับสบาย ยังมีเตียงนอนเล่นแบบ Day bed ติดหน้าต่างบานโตของห้องให้ด้วย ไปนั่งชมวิวเพลินๆได้ไม่ต้องกลัวร้อนเพราะเค้ามีม่านไฟฟ้ากดขึ้นกดลง บังแดดได้ ทันสมัยสุดๆ เราจองห้องแบบไม่เอาอาหารเช้า(ราคาห้องก็ถูกเข้าไปอีก) เพราะตั้งใจมากินอาหารเช้าแบบไต้หวันอันลือเลื่องค่ะ ปาท่องโก๋ยักษ์ ไข่เจียวม้วนข้าวเหนียว น้ำเต้าหู้ แป้งทอด โอ๊ย ซี๊ดค่ะ ฟู้ดสเปซก็เป็นแบบนี้นะคะ จะเที่ยววิวสวย,จะโมเดิร์น,จะคลาสสิก,จะติดดินอะไรก็ได้ ขอให้มีของกินอร่อยๆด้วย เป็นโอเคค่ะ!

Now, it comes to our room. We booked a 'Wonderful room' which was their cheapest room type but very clean and modernly decorated. Bed was comfortable and there was a nice Day bed next to the full-size window for us to relax also. The room came with all standard facilities and quite luxury amenities, sometimes more than what we needed. But, of course, no complaints on that! other bigger rooms comes with higher price and different fancy names i.e. Fabulous room, Marvelous Room or Wow Suite!

ห้องน้ำแต่งโมเดิร์นค่ะ กระจกใสๆสีแจ่มๆสร้างความคึกคัก มีอ่างอาบน้ำ มีฝักบัว และเครืองใช้ในห้องน้ำให้ครบถ้วน

ส่วนที่เท่มากอีกสิ่งหนึ่งก็คือ เค้าเตอร์บาร์เล็กๆในห้องนอนค่ะ มีแก้วไวน์ต่างๆเตรียมไว้ให้อย่างสวยงามมี น้ำผลไม้ แอลกอฮอล์ (เสียเงินเพิ่ม) และ shaker ให้ด้วย เผื่อจะทำค็อกเทลกินเองในห้องตอนไม่อยากออกไปไหน (ซึ่งเราก็ใช้จริงๆ555)
One of the coolest part of the room for us was the in-room Bar counter which was equipped with wines and cocktail classes, mixtures and cocktail shaker which could be used as a real bar! And we did use them quite a bit!

กลับมาเรื่องห้องกันต่อนะคะ ในส่วนของวิวห้อง เราได้ห้องฝั่งที่มองไปเห็นตึก 101 เลยค่ะ แต่องศาหน้าต่างห้องเราทำให้เห็นแค่เสี้ยวๆของตึก ก็ไม่เป็นไรนะคะ มองตาเปล่าแล้วมันใกล้มากๆ เดินแป๊บเดียวราวๆ 5-10 นาทีก็ได้เห็นวิวนี้เลยค่ะ
Regarding the room itself, we were very satisfied with what we got. Our room was facing the Taipei 101 building but because of the ankle, we only saw its partial view. Again, never mind because it only took us 5-10 minutes to walk from W Hotel to see the full sight of this famous building.

ในส่วนของห้องอาหาร ส่วนเป็นที่เสริฟอาหารเช้าแบบบุฟเฟ่ต์ เป็นห้องปิดกำแพงกระจกใส ติดกับสระว่ายน้ำค่ะ ในรูปคือ Woo Bar (lobby bar) ติดกับที่รับอาหารเช้าค่ะ
Buffet breakfast was served next to the swimming pool. This picture was Woo Bar (lobby bar) casual restaurant next to the breakfast buffet place and also next to the check-in counter and the swimming pool.

 ร้านอาหารจีนชื่อเย็นและเย็นบาร์ตั้งอยู่ชั้นบนสุดของโรงแรมค่ะ สองร้านนี้ถือว่าหรูหราและค่อนข้างฮิตมากในเมืองไทเปนะคะ

On the top floor of the hotel, there are Yen Chinese fine-dining restaurant and Yen bar

เย็นบาร์อยู่ที่ชั้นบนสุดของโรงแรม วิวสูงและสวยมากเห็นเมืองไทเปทั้งเมืองเลยค่ะ ตัวบาร์ตกแต่งสวยงาม โมเดิร์นเข้ากันกับคอนเซปท์ของโรงแรม ค็อกเทลดี ใส่แอลกอฮอล์มาเยอะ สั่งแก้วเดียว จิบไปได้เป็นชั่วโมงค่ะ ประหยัดดีนะคะ อิอิ ไวน์และเครื่องดื่มอื่นๆทั้งที่มีแอลกอฮอล์และไม่มีก็มีให้เลือกมากมายค่ะ
Yen bar on the top for of the W Taipei hotel offered us great bird-eye-view of Taipei downtown while we sipped delicious cocktails on a comfy sofa. It was pretty nice and not crowded. We ordered 2 cocktails and a glass of wine and we enjoyed them. 

สรุปรวมความพึงพอใจในการเข้าพักที่โรงแรมดับเบิ้ลยูไทเปในครั้งนี้ Summary of our stay in W hotel, Taipei are as follows;

 Price: We paid THB 5,500/night/room for 3 persons including extra bed but excluding breakfast

 Likes: (4.5/5) รวมๆแล้วชอบมากค่ะ โรงแรมดับเบิ้ลยูที่ไทเป เป็นโรงแรมที่สถานตั้งดีงามมากอยู่กลางเมืองสุดๆ  ราคาไม่แพงมาก ติดกับสถานีรถไฟ รถบัส ห้างสรพพสินค้า ร้านอาหารต่างๆมากมาย ตัวโรงแรมสวยเท่ สะอาด ใหม่และมีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครันสมเป้นโรงแรมห้าดาวค่ะ พนักงานบริการดีและมีประสิทธิภาพมากทั้งเช็คอินและ concierge  รวมถึงพนักงานต้อนรับที่ล็อบบี้ชั้นล่างที่ติดถนนด้วย เรียกแท๊กซี่ให้สบายตลอดค่ะ แต่ว่าโรงแรมนี้อาจจะไม่เหมาะกับผู้สูงอายุหรือเด็กเล็กๆนะคะสีสันของโรงแรมค่อนข้างดำๆสลับฉูดฉาดเท่ๆและมีเพลงบรรเลงตึ๊ดเบาๆตลอดเวลาทุกที่ของโรงแรมค่ะ แต่สำหรับวัยรุ่นและวัยเราแล้ว ชอบมากค่ะ Great-location, beautifully modern, nice and clean hotel with easy access to everywhere and walking distance to Taipei 101 building and many other malls and restaurants. Service was excellent and staff were very helpful and efficient. However, the color theme and its beating background music might not be suitable for the elder nor small kids. So, if you're traveling in a big family style, this might not be the perfect place for your family.
